Anaesthetic Aesthetic
is a guide to Moscow, Russia,
that was put together by me and a small team of researchers at the New Normal programme at Strelka Institute of Architecture, Media and Design throughout Lev Manovich's workshop.
anaesthetic aesthetic is a non-guide to Moscow. Unlike usual guides, that follow an established categorization and classification to encourage visitors to explore the city _more_, this guide's mission is exactly the opposite: to help the reader to explore the city _less_,to provide an array of aesthetic options to anaesthetize oneself from it.
Team included Don Toromanoff, Nataliya Tyshkevich, Alexander Geysman and Valdis Silins.
